It was an unfortunate ride for the Kings XI Punjab though they have played good matches and fought well yet lost a couple sadly.
Irfan Pathan came as opening batsman with Ravi Bopara and the partnership looked to have worked for them as they won the match. Taking Juan Theron in place of Sreesanth also paid the Kings as Theron not only bowled well but also fielded brilliantly saving at least 20 runs for the team. Bisla gamble did fail though and they might want to give him break in the upcoming match against Rajasthan Royals. Yuvraj seems to have gained his touch and if it peaks in tomorrow’s match, it can be in their favor.
Past few days have been encouraging for the Rajasthan Royals too who picked up a win against KKR and Yusuf Pathan will be key for their success and should he fire the team will take off with confidence, but it looks like Shane Warne has been missing great bowling combination especially one like Jadeja.
