Match 6 of the 3rd edition of the IPL.Delhi Daredevils Vs Rajasthan Royals Live Streaming, Delhi Daredevils Vs Rajasthan Royals Live Match Scores, Rajasthan Royals Vs Delhi Daredevils Highlights Live Score Card, Watch Rajasthan Royals Vs Delhi Daredevils Live Mar 15 (14:30 GMT, 20:00 IST) at Sardar Patel Stadium.Rajasthan Royals lock horns with Delhi Daredevils in their adopted home ground, The Sardar Patel Stadium at Ahmedabad. Delhi won their first game, thanks to a fine knock from their captain Gambhir.
Royals on the other hand came so close to chasing down 212 but, they fell 4 runs short.
It promises to be a thrilling encounter as both teams will be looking to take the early advantage in the series and find a place in the top 4 of the points table. This is Ajith, bringing you all the action with my colleagues Shashank and Srivathsa.
For Rajasthan, they have the game changing players in Shaun Tait and Yusuf Pathan. Although Tait was less than inspiring against Mumbai, he showed red hot form for Australia recently, and cannot be written off.
If a Tait burst produces two or three early wickets then it could well set Delhi back by quite a bit, since the batsmen he would have got would be one amongst the foursome of Gambhir, Sehwag, AB de villiers and Dilshan. Delhi's batting is a bit top heavy, but since the top is so heavy, they usually don't feel the effects of having a longish tail, but if Tait can do what Shoaib Akhtar did to them in IPL 2008 in Calcutta, Delhi will have a fight on their hands.
Delhi will have to go with the combination that is best suited and a batting line-up of Sehwag, Gambhir, Warner, Dilshan, AB de villiers and Dinesh Karthik complemented by a bowling line-up of Nannes, Nehra, Mishra and possibly Sangwan will make for excellent firepower in both batting and bowling. The only thing Delhi will lack in that line-up is the lack of any of the bowlers' ability to bat, but they should bank on their star-studded batting line-up to pull them through even with a longish tail.
