Getting his first win over the Marlins (7-5) since Sept. 22, 2006, could help. Hamels is 0-5 with a 4.97 ERA in nine starts against them since, including a 7.08 ERA during a four-game losing streak at Citizens Bank Park.

Chase Utley(notes) has been a big reason for the strong start, hitting .366 with six homers and 12 RBIs while reaching base in all 11 games. However, the second baseman saw his streak of four consecutive games with a homer end Saturday.
Utley owns a .354 average with 13 homers and 45 RBIs in 51 home meetings with the Marlins.
