Kentucky Speedway : NASCAR Nationwide Series Scheduled

The NASCAR Nationwide Series was scheduled at this weekend . The NASCAR Nationwide Series takes on the 1.5-mile oval of Kentucky Speedway. The track was designed to host a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and has hosted NASCAR Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series races having capacity of  66,000 (Stands).

Joey Logano, the two-time defending Meijer 300 winner practiced and qualified his Sprint Cup car at Michigan International Speedway, then made it to Kentucky in time for the final practice for the Nationwide Series event.

In the NNS Practice 2 Teenager Colin Braun posted the fastest time in either practice session on Friday, finishing a lap of 175.154 mph in testing for tonight's Meijer 300 at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky. Justin Allgaier finished Second with a lap of 174.921mph.

Jason Leffler leads in the NNS Practice 1 with finishing a lap of 173.166 mph. Colin Braun was at second in the NNS Practice 1 with finishing a lap of 172.883 mph
