Netherlands vs Japan Highlights: Netherlands won the match against Japan with 1-0 in Durban. Holland at the top with two wins out of two in Group E. Netherlands almost confirms their second round berth with a win over Japan.Holland dominated in the early having most time of possession but the Japanese are holding firm. Both has many chances to lead but no one scored in the first half.

In the 53 minute Holland opened the lead through Sneijder. Japanese resistance is broken with a thunderous effort from Sneijder.
Japan attacked more after trailing with 0-1. It had many chances to level the scores but the Holland defense played well. In the 90 minute of play Japan had a good chance, Tulio heads down Nagatomo's long ball for Okazaki - but from just 12-yards he fires over with only Stekelenburg to beat. Should be 1-1 but missed.
