Uruguay vs Mexico Highlights: Both Reached Super 16

Even Uruguay wins against Mexico Both teams reached the Knockout stage on Tuesday. Uruguay played against Mexico in the last match at group stage to finalize the group toppers and finished with 1-0 victory.

With this win Uruguay secured seven points to stay at the top of table and Mexico is at second along with South Africa and entered to super 16 with net Goals scored.

The one and only goal scored by the Uruguay at just before the Half time. Cavani's perfect cross from the right is headed home by Suarez from six yards at the far post. That could make things very interesting in Group A. Possibly time for Mexico to get a bit nervous.

Uruguay then almost doubled the advantage when Forlan swung over a free-kick from the right, but Diego Lugano's powerful header drew an excellent low save from Perez.

The Mexicans again had their goalkeeper Perez to thank in the 87th minute when he parried away and awkward 30-yard Cavani strike for a corner.
