After excellent performance against Mexicon in the first match South Africa lost their second match to Uruguay. The Atletico Madrid striker Forlán scored the opening goal of the game at 24th minute of play and Uruguay leads the Half time with 1-0 Even South Africa having most time of Possession.


In the second Half Uruguay played fabulously and made two more goals to make the lead 3-0. Inthe 80th minute Double Strike from the Forlán, He  converted corner into a goal in splendid way. Josephs went the right way but Forlan put it straight into the roof of the net. 

In the lasyt minute Forlan almost grabs a hat trick. Forlan again plays a fabulous pass to Suarez who is out wide. He controls the ball and crosses in for Pereira to head into an empty net.

After the game Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez said, "We are convinced that we can win the World Cup". Mphela and Siphiwe Tshabalala both had chances to reduce the deficit in the closing stages but, in the end, there was little the hosts could do to deny Uruguay a deserved and vital three points.
