Brazil vs Holland 2010 FIFA World Cup QF: Holland defeated the Brazil in the Quarterfinals after trailing Half time with 0-1. Netherlands defeated Samba Boys with 2-1 and enters semifinals.

Holland opens their score with Melo Own Goal and level the score with 1-1. Pretty much out of nothing but it's all-square in Port Elizabeth! From the free-kick the ball is worked back to Sneijder, who lofts a somewhat hopeful cross into the box with his left. Julio Cesar comes confidently to punch but doesn't get a touch onto it and the ball flicks off Melo's head in front of him and into the net.

In the Sixty Eigth minute second stroke for the samba boys SNEIJDERscored second goal for Holland to make the lead 2-1. What a turnaround! Lovely inswinging ball clipped in from the right by Robben, Kuyt gets the flick-on at the front post and Sneijder heads home unmarked from three yards out. Sloppy defending - and Holland lead! Now we'll find out what Brazil are made of.

In the seventy third minue Brazil problems are doubled with the elimination of Melo. Brazil's task just got an awful lot harder. Felipe Melo tries to tackle Arjen Robben and when the Dutch winger goes to ground, Melo seems to stamp on him. Yuichi Nishimura immediately gets his red card out and there are few complaints from Melo.
