Tour de France is an yearly bicycle race, which covers about 3600 km (2,200 miles) across France and neighboring countries. In the year 1903 race was started and completed 96 Editions till now. The First winner was Maurice Garin (FRA) and the Most wins by Lance Armstrong (USA) (7) 1999–2005 in the Tour. The last time winner was Alberto Contador (ESP).Lance Armstrong, who won the seven times, in the early stages of his 13th and last Tour de France, managed to avoid all the mayhem on Stage One on a day littered with major crashes and problems.
Armstrong, who finished third in last year's Tour, leads Contador by five seconds after Sunday's stage won by Alessandro Petacchi of Italy.
